Fake personal medical book (part 2)

Medical Book Protection
For the manufacture of medical books, forms are used, which are official documents. After issuing to a person, a medical book is registered in the unified electronic database of Rospotrebnadzor.

To exclude the appearance of fake medical books, an enhanced document protection system has been developed:

Each issued medical book has a holographic protection of SES of the approved form;
This medical book has a dark blue cover (97 × 135) with rounded corners and embossed inscriptions in golden color – “Personal Medical Book” and “RUSSIAN STATE SERVICE”.
All sheets are made of watermarked paper.
The document must be stitched with a special security thread, which is used to staple official forms.
On the inside of the cover and on all pages of the book, the paper is covered with a graphic blue grid in the form of half rings with villi.
The photograph of the holder of the document must be certified with a blue round seal of the Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology of the Federal State Health Institution that issued the region’s medical book and a round hologram.
The results of medical certification must be certified with a square hologram.
The personal medical book has a unique seven-digit number, which is entered in the unified state register of LMK.
Although the protection of the health book is comprehensive, the document is still being falsified. It is difficult to distinguish a fake medical book from a genuine one, but it is possible. There are still differences between a genuine book and a fake one. Here they are:

often the color scheme of a fake and a real book is different;
on the original, the book number is printed in standard black font;
approved documents are affixed to official documents;
originals are always sealed, and fakes are often filled out by hand;
on the pages of this medical booklet under UV light, hidden protective signs are visible;
there is no fake information in the unified register, the hologram number is invalid.
Criminal and administrative liability for counterfeiting a medical book
Responsibility for the legitimacy of the medical book is borne not only by the medical institution issuing it, but also by the employer together with the employee – the owner of the LMK. In case of detection of a fake, the responsibility lies with everyone. The falsification of official documents entails criminal liability for up to two years in prison.

But alas, many simply try not to notice the “dubious” documents of their employees. Thus, they jeopardize their safety and the safety of all working personnel of the enterprise. However, it must be remembered that according to the Labor Code, an organization must have an agreement with a specialized center and even pay for medical books.

If employers become more attentive to the examination of medical books submitted by applicants for employment, the number of reports of massive viral infections, the victims of which are most often children, will decrease significantly.
