5 rules for refunding treatment in Russia. Is it possible to compensate money for treatment abroad? (part 5)

Is it possible to receive monetary compensation for treatment abroad?
Cash compensation is paid within the framework of the current legislation of the Russian Federation, namely, Decree No. 201 (the costs of treatment and the purchase of medicines or supplies should be indicated in the lists of this decision). The code of the services provided is also taken into account.

In addition, a list of drugs whose costs are reimbursable has been approved. Detailed explanations on these issues can be obtained at the online reception of the Ministry of Health of Russia. The institution must respond to the appeal within thirty days, starting from the moment of receipt of the appeal.

Appeal to the employer

To obtain a tax deduction, before the tax period ends, you can contact the employer. But before that, you should visit the tax authority and take confirmation of such a right.

Taxpayer Actions:

Writing a statement to the tax authority that you need to receive a notice of the right to a tax deduction.
Preparation of copies of documentation that confirms the right to a tax deduction.
To the tax authority located at the place of residence, apply for the above notification, enclosing copies of the necessary supporting documents.
Receive the requested notice from the tax authority within thirty days from the date of application.
Providing the received notice to the accounting department of the employer. Based on this document, income tax will not be deducted from the income of an individual until the end of the year.
When submitting photocopies of the necessary documentation to the tax authority, it is necessary to bring its originals with you, since the tax inspector must check them. It is important that all payment documents are executed by a person who has concluded an agreement with a medical institution, even if payment was made for another person.
